Another Offhand Axe question with a twist (Advice needed)

I plan to get an offhand axe and I apologize, I am asking the question of which is better fire, cold, magic (Lvl 100 axe) but with some added information.
I solo primarily and do not, nor do not plan on my own volition use lix until I reach lvl 150
My Clan primarily has Mages who are Ice users
I spend near all my time soloing Boggans, currently at the lvl 135 camp, who spit fire.
From my research on these forums I have gathered this data, to show that I am not wasting your time
Solo = Magic
Fire = If you have Fire users
Cold = If you have Ice users
That being said, here are my thoughts
The Fire Axe has Fire resist, which I imagine is helpful against
The Boggans who are torching me while I solo (Red Boggans at 135 Camp)
Aggorath (spelling) that dragon in OW that I need to assist my clan in killing
But I hear that mages who use fire are to not use fire attacks on Pyrus, I have asked and was told that a fire axe still does damage on Pyrus, need confirmation from experts on this.
If I go Ice, this will be an advantage on boss encounters, yet is it worth passing on my previously stated fire resist advantage?
Lastly, the magic axe, is the magic resist any useful from 130 to 150?
Thank you in advance, I plan to buy the axe in around 8 hours
P.S. My previous offhand is a golden ice trident, if that means anything
