something funny I've noticed

I'm absolutely sure others know this but some don't:
if you have rupture, you can use it on the chaos wraiths in sv, the lv 60 ghost guys that are only hurt by divine dmg, and the DoT of rupture will hurt them.
Divine Rupture? lol.
idk if this trick works with other DoT spells, as warrior is the only one I've tested it with.
plz say if spells like rend, barbed shot, etc. does the same thing.

DoT dmg works a bit different i guess, i think that it is less affected by armour and resists (or not affected at all), and usually affected by lvl, i see my rupture's dmg per tick doing over my other dmg sometimes on bosses, also if it is affected or not, it is not divine dmg (if it was it wouldnt work on normal mobs) and overall DoT dmg is always great

the whole lv thing can't be true bc I've tested my 15/15 rupture in pvp and they do relatively the same on average over all lvs…
would the whole rupture DoT thing affecting chaos wraiths be because it is used under multiple types of damage, slashing and blunt at the same time, so that it confuses the game?
because rend and barbed shot are solid pierce DoT, frostbite and incinerate do ice and fire respectively, etc. so maybe it would be because of the multiple types of DoT.
and rend use with hand to hand must be pierce, because hand to hand is used with knuckle blades, Ik that, so rend isn't an exception to the rule.
this is very interesting… maybe OTM would care to explain?

first, lvl matter affects on any type of dmg, including poison and divine

second, idk about the confuse of crush + slash dmg, wouldnt really matter, not much to do with it

im not sure myself which lure would help with rupture's DoT, altough as i said im not sure how much DoT dmg is affected by resists and etc.

this is purely for discussion as to why rupture works when nothing else except divine does.

yeah i wasn't thinking prob when i said the whole slash+crush thing
there must be something about it because ruptures DoT seems to be the only DoT in PvP that is not resistible, but the mobs can resist it
god rupture is weird.
lets just classify ruptures as… ElementX
lol.
