Im a pure str build so how much str would it take for the dagger of bounty to do more damage then an Axe of Triumph?

To be absolutely sure the dagger wins you need 1,000 str- more always works too but that's the guaranteed minimum.

Never, even with 10k str. Frenzy is what makes it overtop the dmg from axe but theres also loss of str bonus to skills, and there are pros and cons to both axe and bounty dagger, i enjoy the rejuv after getting my bladeleaf.
For the record, with 1455 str, it still doesnt give more than 300 dmg without frenzy.
