No because I highly doubt it stacks with lures, Ive tried checking on several edls, my dmg with both lure of asssassins and shatter never was higher than my dmg with just assassins lures, and Id only hit like 2.3k out of the 8k+ double I can hit. If I can avoid using shatter, I will.

Even if it does stack, doesn't make a huge difference. Lures can take down like 1400 resistance, whereas shatter is what, 800 maybe? Plus shatter is not on the whole time like lures are

Shatter for me isnt 800 but its not 50, its 45, so 600+ with over 1.7k str.

Resistances and armor are different things though. I don't know why your damage wasn't higher crim with shatter and lure, it should have been I'd think. Just like we get resistances from edl, if a mage casts a lure on us, we still have armor. Same for bosses, if max assas lure is up, the boss will still have its set of armor, defence, etc. I'd think shatter and assas lure stacks. Just like ud melee more with a fire Axe gara blade set and hrung braces on shatter and fire lure. As for shatter on a tank, no Dps isnt a tanks job.

I think I do know why it is. I'll try to explain :

Think that u decrease someone's pierce resist by 1000, his armour is still 1200 as well. And so, his pierce resists sits at x-1000. Now u shatter him taking down 600 of his armour, but it doesnt add to the pierce resist that was already taken (Im sorry I dont have the proper words to explain, never used them), it simply goes into the x-1000. But, if pierce lure took down just 100, and its x-100, then the 600 shatter would not stack but replace it, making it x-600.

I doubt I could explain, but its as if the larger debuff is the one that decides.

For what it's worth, I do notice a significant difference in the downing speed of major bosses, and 6* EDLs, using 50 shatter over not shattering throughout a fight.

50 Pro Stance, 50 Def Form, 1 End Guard, 50 Shield Wall, 50 Taunt, 50 Shatter, 1 Skewer, & 24 Warcry.

But full vit makes ur shatter at 50 as good as a lv20 shatter with str. It'd make more sense for bash no? Would help a ton if ur bosses rage, to interrupt heals, skills etc. just my opinion. You know ur needs for ur clan more than us ofcourse so ur final decision would be best for ur clan/server ur on.

Armour is nothing but piercing slashing crushing resistances. 1 armour is 1 slash pierce crush res, so if a mage casts pierce lure and lowers boss pierce res by 1000, a 800 shatter won't lower his pierce res by a further 800, but will lower the non lured resistances like crush and slash. The issue is no one uses axes, swords hammers to dps a boss, so is entirely up to you depending on which group is there. If you have good amount of slash and crush dmg at the fight then shatter will help.
