Just wondering to see if most tanks are still using the huntsmen ring effectively. Show of hands ?

I do. With all of my abilities maxed, and fairly high defense, using this ring can still be OP. For instance, I'm able to tank up to 6 adds on Prot (with one being a 5*) and I take almost no damage because I'm dodging/evading on average 20/25 hits. I've tried using a skain vit ring instead of the huntsman and I have to spam restos to hold all the mobs. So there's one example where it's extremely valuable.

But then again, I'm not really a tank lol

On my tank, I have 5309 defence unelixed. I compared huntsman to runic alchemy ring (400 defence + evasions), unelixed obviously huntsman totally wins, but elixed the difference is very little (like 20-30 defence in favor of huntsman) but with huntsman u lose all evasions, so elixed, huntsman is weaker. 6691 defence elixed btw.

I still use Huntsman against bosses with high autos and i think it's still a great tank piece, especially when you have a really high defence gear

The more non-ring high def pieces that get released the more effective huntsman ring is. For example, by equipping a new high tier dex/def proteus brace you're adding another 100 ish def to the huntsman

Eh ikr, i've seen servers getting godlies after 3-4 kills, we Haven't gotten any brace above royal tier yet

same, nothing higher than a royal tier besides rings. No def brace at all tbh, all were dps types

They are still used on gwydion, one guy paid $500 of irl cash into chests to buy a huntsman ring of another player.

and I'm sure many other tanks would use them if they could get their hands on it
