Unfortunately we are unable to change a character's name at this point, but we may offer this service at some point in the future.

Support can change name. They did change my ranger alts name without prior notice. I got a message saying to avoid upset, we changed ur name. It was kinda inappropriate name tho so i was cool with it. I requested a substitue name of my choice later but they denied it so idk maybe policy thing...not so much that they are unable to.

The only time a name can be changed is if, when restoring a deleted character, there exists another character with that name, or the name is inappropriate.

Because two characters with the same name cannot exist on the same World, one of the characters named (usuall the one being restored) has to be changed.

We may one day offer a feature which allows players to change their character name, but currently we do not offer this service.

Oh so if i accidentaly delete my caracter and someone use my ex name on hes caracter while ive asked you to restore it u will change my name right?

The only change that will happen to the name is usually the addition of a number or one letter.

For example, a name which was previously Bob will be changed to Bob1.

Thats not the only time. They can change the name if they dont agree with its appropriateness, as i learned firsthand. I have a screenshot, just idk how to post lol. So if u pick a name thats possibly sensitive nature, they might change it at will, meaning u have no say what it will be.

They can change but just dont allow it now.

It would be moree moreee easier just to change a few letters then to restore a caracter wi all armors and so the name ..... Why dont u just make players to fell good? I mean i need a caracter tranfer the answer No , "maybe" in future .... I need to change a name "no , "maybe" in future ..... Why cant you just offer me another name i want it ?
