I know botting is a real thing, but I've never heard of someone being able to bot on this game, and at least successfully bot. I'd imagine it'd be hard with the areas sooo large and the mobs actually requiring you to use your skills.

Actually when u bot apparently u can make the botting system or whatever it is cast skills at certain times. Like when your health gets to a certain point it automatically casts your healing skills. There used to be a person on my world who used to bot but cant say his name....

Bots dont cast healing spells bcuz they are programed to not die. After every 3 or so mobs it will automatically have full health again.

I know of someone on my server who either bots or uses Regen's tactic, I can't say for sure. I do know, however, that this person manages to keep their toons alive by giving them as much hp regen as they can fit into.

Also bots are capable of casting skills. The whole point of a bot is to follow a script, it's basically a loop of events. The creator can most likely set certain points of the screen to be 'selected' at different intervals and put certain skills on those points. Boom, bots are born.

And don't tell me i'm a botter because I know this, i just did I.T. at school.

Simply afking for a bit isn't a problem. Botting, however, is against the T&Cs.

Could someone point me to the actual words where botting is against the TOS/EULA? I read It a total of 8 times over several hours and not a single sentence prohibits it. It is not 'hacking' as that is modifying game code or intercepting and modifing the data. It is not reverse engineering. It is using third party software to interface with the game.

Also it's pretty obvious with the 10minute afk logout that OTM is OK with AFK farming. If they weren't it would be 1-2 min.

I'm fairly sure a person on terannis (name withheld) got banned permanently for botting hawk mobs. They got greedy and did it inhumanly 24-7 for weeks. Then selling a vast amount of chests and fashion for boatloads of gold. Not smart if you don't want to get caught humans need to sleep a little lmao.

Not sure but I haven't seen them in game since a ton of people reported them.

I saw a video that seemed legit about botting with a computer and I believe some people use it.
For exemple there is a lvl 40 PERMANENTLY in catacombs at dustwither cryptguards and tombguards, casting recuperate when he kills 2 mobs, and so on, like KiyKiy said. I reported him but nothing has been done. He is ALWAYS here when I go to catacombs.

It's the weekend now, otm does not work on weekends.

'Botting' is against OTM's terms of service. We take note of the characters reported however looking into these can be difficult, but we are looking into them and action will be taken as soon as possible.
