This only happens on iPhone 5s (fully updated, if that makes a difference). Ive rebooted the phone and restarted the app, but this makes no difference.
please help - it is impossible to type, let alone play

thanks

Sometimes when im playing and my hand is over the light sensor on the top of my iphone 5s (i think thats what it is...) i cant move my char, type, or anything like that... but when i move my hand away i can resume playing... until i put my hand back that is. Eventually (round 2 minutes) itll stop and i can play normally with my hand wherever.Hi, lately I've been experiencing some problems while playing- whenever i try to run or move the camera it jumps to an entirely different angle and refuses to move my character, rendering the game unplayable. As well as this, there will be a similar effect when i try to type, sometimes entering random letters and submitting the message into chat early, or sometimes deleting it entirely...

This happens to me only when water gets on my phone screen. I'm pretty sure the water makes the screen think that you're tapping/swiping tons of areas at once, and all those gestures end up canceling out.Hi, lately I've been experiencing some problems while playing- whenever i try to run or move the camera it jumps to an entirely different angle and refuses to move my character, rendering the game unplayable. Dear all, I have found a fix for the charging related scrolling problem, but it can be applied to all problems for testing
My problem was occuring when I was using a 3rd party wall charger. I have fixed this issue! I'm not sure if this is the "case" for everyone.
I am using my iPhone 5S with a plastic case, that covers the sides and the back of the phone. When I remove the case, plug it in to the 3rd party charger the scrolling problem dissappears. This is happening because the wrong/irregular current can now flow through the phone into my hand and continue to any place it can go. Hence the charge does not stay in the phone and doesn't mess up the capacitor.
So my solution is to remove the plastic casing and see if the touch screen capacitor behaves normally. Also always use chargers that are sold or approved by Apple. Besides these, remove any casings covering the entire back and sides whenever you are charging.

ohh, thank you!! I will definitely try these solutions -It could be any of the problems, lolI have this problem on my iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1. This happens to me only when it is plugged into the charger. I found that it is a problem when I am using an ungrounded power source. When I plug the USB cord into my laptop, the problem disappears. When I plug it into a grounded power strip, it's fine. When I plug it into an ungrounded extension cord, it goes nuts. Try testing this fix out, and also take a look at what I found below from the Apple forums regarding this problem.
Try some of these fixes:
- use a grouded power source
- remove the case from your device
- use a different charger
