Hey guys thinking about saving up for a new device because my iPad mini 1st gen lags and crashes way to much. Wondering what would be the best option to get.

I have an iphone 6s and the gameplay is astonishing.

For idevices the best new device for the money is an ipod6. It's guts are basically identical to an iphone 6 but you pay much less.

For a regular iPad size it's currently the iPad air 2, the pro is better but larger.

All of the above run the game as smoothly as possible but still suffer much of the same crashing problems as other models due to it being problems with coding and not hardware limits.

As far as the cheapest but still playable for your money id say an iPhone 4S off an auction site like ebay, with the least desirable carrier (like sprint/Verizon in my region). They can be bought in working shape no problems as low as 40 usd though 50-55 is much more common. Buying used you have to watch out for several kinds of problems while the only headache with new is in your wallet.

I use an iPad Air - crashed maybe twice since I got it last christmas, and once was during Beta.

iPad Air if want to spend the extra $100, recommended over mini. Larger screen is better.

Mini 3 has the same exact specs as 2, only difference is touch ID which doesn't affect your CH game play at all. So save the $50.

Yeah we were checking out device specs and noticed that, kind of insane they can release a product numbered 2 and 3 yet call it a new device?!

QA let me borrow the Mini thankfully and my main Android device for the game is a Hudl 2, prefer the iPad for aesthetics but Hudl for usage.

As someome who just had a 4S, do not buy one. Garbage. Buy an android phone or tablet. They are generally cheaper and have better specs.

For a tablet I would recommend the nvidia shield tablet.
For a phone, either a galaxy s6 or something close to that.
