Connection issues

Hi, I have been playing this game for about a week now using my friends and families Internet. Just got home today, tried to connect to the game, it lets me login but then hangs on the world list just saying 'connecting' on them all. Tried all recommended solutions, redownloading app, restarting phone etc but i a still having the problem. Also I may add, I can use my router to connect to my other apps, browse the internet and play other MMO's. I have once had a problem with an online game for the PC since getting a new ISP and that was due to the hack shield saying I was trying to hack the game. Could this be the case? I live in the UK and my ISP is Orange. Wanting to resolve this issue ASAP as double xp is on :(

Hi there,

This sounds like a very strange issue.

Can you confirm that you are having trouble connecting to the game using Orange WiFi (and not the Orange mobile phone network)?

And could you also provide the make and model number of your Internet router? This will help the team find out what is causing the problem, and allow them to hopefully fix it.

In the meantime, the only thing I can suggest is to use a different WiFi network I'm afraid.

This is quite the strange issue, and I'm afraid there is no quick fix for it.

My best guess would be that there might be something in the next app update (not the next patch, but an update to the game itself). However, this is me just guessing, as I really have no idea how any of this technical stuff works.

I've passed on the information you provided to the team, and hopefully they'll be able to make use of it and sort out whatever the problem is.

Nearly all connection issues like this can be fixed buy trying the following:

1) turn device on and off
2) if you still can't get on, log into a different wifi connection somewhere and try
3) if there is still and issue, delete and reinstall app

1 and 2 will solve the issue in 99.9% of the time so let me know how you get on please.
