I don't understand why he can't be told (considering I have seen posts where admin or whatnot has stated "You traded that to...")
But throwing out an idea here:
Can the people who he traded his items to be sent a Support notification in-game? Something that pops up the next time they log in, simply saying something like "Donk0 is trying to contact you."
It is similar to privacy protections in real life... I can go to the allumni office at my university because I want to get in touch with an old friend. They won't give me any information on him/her, but they will send a letter to the last known address, including my contact info, saying that I am trying to reach them. That old friend then has the choice to contact me or not.
Similarily, an in-game notification will keep privacy issues safe, and will allow the other person to make the choice.
Obviously, you wouldn't want to set a standard, so if you go this route, I would say to keep it on the DL.
Dersu,
I am perfectly happy with that.
If I got told in game that a pm had been sent to the other player ut would be great.
If nothing comes of it, at least I know just to buy new ones for my characters.
I am 95% sure the in game message thing would be fine, but hey if it doesn't get my bits back, then I also understand that all trades are final.
I don't even need names myself, just the knowledge that they have been contacted on my behalf.
Thanks guys
