If a scammer is reported, and there is clear evidence, then action is taken to tackle the matter. If you have submitted a ticket and it has not been answered, please try sending another. The Support team endeavour to answer tickets in a timely manner but sometimes a few gremlins sneak in and slow things down.

Appreciate the reply but we have had someone impersonate every top player on Rhiannon and try scamming like this.

The same guy must have been reported over 100 times collectively, and OTM may ban 1 account, but he will just make another and continue to do it. OTM should follow it up, and ban whichever account ends up with the goods, and prevent them from making future accounts, like OTM have done to people that have spoken their mind on forums.

+1 to OP. I know a guy who scammed 20mil and was banned for a few days, but when he sent an appeal, his account was reinstated. Hell, I may just send an appeal saying I scammed to OTM... It would probably get them to re-enable my account instead of ignoring me for 4 months!

As Kodelia stated, if a scammer is reported and there is clear evidence then action is taken. Support relay on reports from players as tracking players who may use the 'same' name as other players can be rather difficult and not all players may do this with sinister intent. Some of these 'copycat' accounts can simply be characters created by the original player to make sure that their character cannot be copied in the same way, so a blanket ban on similar names isn't possible.

Of course not, but it's sad that people had to make accounts with similar names of themselves to stop people impersonating them in the first place.

Hopefully the lettering is changed in the engine, but the chat log must be easy enough to trace, especially when the same person has impersonated over 20 different people and has succeeded in scamming too.. I just don't understand how he has not been banned, he makes Rhiannon hell.
