@Muldar and what's up with IOS prices? At 99$ pack I had to pay 107$

Apple collects location every time you make a purchase, so you arent taxed by accident. It is possible where you are has a tax in place.

Check if the other packs are also increased by the same 7%. If they are, it is likely tax.

It all shows correct prices. But when I bought the 99$ and went to my payments data. It said as I payed 107$ and I never moved to different city or place. And never been taxed before this time.

Seems to be a Google issue. They have decided to start adding tax to certain online purchases and I guess it started to effect us at the same time as Beltane.

We've messaged them for more information on this topic but they haven't been replying much.

I've figured it out. I think.

Whichever one of you has the OTM google play account needs to go to Google Play developer settings and make sure everything is correct.
Tax on the Play Store is up to the developer, Google does not automatically add it.

I think it's just now affecting other players, so heroes who never experienced it before suddenly are now.

Hopefully Google gets back to us on this because nothing ever changed on our end :/

all other purchases on all other games were correct price, CH is the only game this happens to.

Google does not automatically add any tax to purchases.

Tax is totally set by the developer.

Unless OTM has a presence in US states, there is not a requirement for any tax to be added.
And even then, tax should only be added to the state that has OTM presence, not all of the states.

Ik many more people have bought a lot more id like a full refund or something at least. Ty or we all sue lol:P

This is the only game I pay this tax. I play other games and make in app purchases and never pay over the advertised price. On the other games when I pay and it says 1000 diamonds are $49.99, I only pay $49.99. Celtic Heroes is the only game that I pay more than the requested price.

I'll make a call to google. I certainly hope they don't tell me they don't add tax charges.

Whoever has the merchant center account needs to log in and follow those steps to make sure all the settings for the US are correct.

"You are solely responsible for specifying your own tax rates. If tax rates for your location change, you are also responsible for updating the tax rates that buyers are charged. If you don't specify any tax information, Google Payments will not apply taxes to your orders. If you need tax assistance, please consult with a qualified tax professional."
