I've come up with another compromise which might be able to help both sides.
Again, I am sorry that there is nothing more that can be done, but the Support Team cannot inform players of the details of trades.

The job of the Support Team is to support players with certain issues, such as returning a dropped item or restoring a deleted character. They are not responsible for informing players who they have traded items to.
I understand that this is frustrating, and may go against traditional wisdom, but the Support Team has to operate within a set of guidelines. One of those guidelines is that they do not inform players of the details of trades. This goes both for the person who has traded the item, and the player who has received an item.
Again, I am sorry that there isn't anything I can do about this, but those are the guidelines that we have to stick to.
