If the Support team have said they are unable to return your Platinum, then there must be a valid reason for them taking this course of action.

If the Platinum has been legitimately bought then there should be no issue; however if, for example, the purchase was made using a jailbroken device then this is not a legitimate purchase and so the Support team are unable to do anything about this.

If you are using a jailbroken device you are unable to purchase Platinum; the only way to buy Platinum is to use a non-jailbroken device.

Using a jailbroken device to buy Platinum will not take any money from your account, as the system does not recognise or allow the Platinum purchase.

i use a jailbrokn device and have never had problems buying plat through itunes...
