Some people do not seem to get platinum directly. They get suggested to log in on another wifi spot or switch down your i-device.
If you still don't have your platinum try the in-game support function. This could take a day or two before the support team has looked at your support ticket.

Hi there, if you have platiunum troubles please turn the device on and off fully, and if this doesn't work connect to a different wifi connection than you usually use.
The above steps will almost always solve the issue you have.
The transaction is securely stored on your device, it just needs to get sent over which sometimes can be disrupted by connectivity issues.
