Although this is completely true there are still rare occasions where one can lose all there items, platinum, or gold. What if you were to walk away from your iphone for 5 minutes and then return to it and find out an 8 year old kid not realizing platinum cost real life money had spent it all. In this situation it is totally the fault of the owner of the iphone however weird occasions like this can and will happen. Is there really no way to refund the platinum given the circumstance?

And fyi lol, this has happened to me in other games. My 2yo son has spent more 'premium coins' in other games than I have because I don't hide my games (he can open them) better. Thanfully, none of them has been coins I paid for (games "give" them out). It's no more my 2yo's fault than it is the game developer's that that happened.
