If I uninstall the app from me phone and reinstall it, does it delete my character or does it just delete the app

Thanks for all the help I don't need to uninstall after all! I was trying to find a way to change my apple Id for when I'd like to buy platinum but it wasn't an option. Turns out I just had to log out of apple. Smh. I'm slow sometimes, need a rapid shot helmet
