Can't purchase from itunes

They said my account info was wrong, Then after reentering it they said "please contact support for your purchase". Well support is closed for te holiday, what can I do?

I'm afraid that if the issue is with Apple then there isn't much that we can do to help, you will have to contact Apple Support to resolve your issue.

Weird. It kept saying my info was wrong but it was always right. After repeated attempts it seems they blocked me from purchasing before contacting support. Since support was closed, I just gave up. But around 4 hors later I tried again for kicks and it worked flawlessly!

Oh well I'm happy now :)

Having same issue. I tried again hours later like you did and I'm still not having any luck.
Anyone know what can be done to resolve this?
My biggest question is since this issue is out of OTM and player control, will I still be able to receive double plat if I'm unable to sort the issue out until after the sale ends?
I assume it is being caused by rapid and repetitive plat purchases in a short period of time. I submitted a support ticket describing what happened as proof of when I was attempting to buy the plat during the sale.

iTunes customer support has responded to my email inquiry and lifted the billing restriction that was caused by multiple iTunes purchases (all Celtic heroes purchases)
I am now able to buy the platinum as I was trying to do last night. However, the plat sale is now over. Is there anything that can be done to accommodate these extenuating circumstances?
If so, I will gladly submit my $100 dollar purchase of platinum and carry on.
If not, and I'm unable to receive double platinum for my purchase then I will simply opt to keep my $100 and forgo the benefit of platinum on that particular account that happened to be left out of the sale.

I'm in no particular hurry at this point seeing as how the sale has already ended. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done at your earliest convienance.

The double plat sale is still on for another 14 hours or so.

Could try sending a support ticket, you never know they might be kind enough to allow you double plat because of the problems you had.
