I went to turn in this quest after both finding the chest, and buying a lockpick. The guy said I completed the quest, but it kept showing a question mark above his head, wanting me to turn it in again. I decided to log to see if maybe that would give me my item, but it didn't. It just got rid of the hawkhurst chest and the lockpick, so my best bet is that the quest is bugged somehow.

Maybe it is just a repeatable quests. Some quests can be repeatable.

no today my friend completed quest as well but he got nothing either...this surely HAS to be a bug

Yes it is a repeatable quest, but you are supposed to get a fashion item for completing the quest, but I didn't get that, nor did I keep my Hawkhurst Chest or Lockpick

We have a fix for this quest that will be going live later today. If you completed this quest and didn't receive an item please contact support and we will refund your lost items.

I have still received no response on this at all, I've sent two support tickets on this issue, and have not heard from anyone since I posted. It's starting to become very frustrating that certain people are being responded to, but others aren't.

Wrong. Spamming the forums will just get you banned. Just be patient. You have to realize there are not many support staff and they get thousands of tickets every single day. It takes time to sift through everything and fix/respond to everyones problems. Just be patient and they will get to you when they can.
