Celtic Heroes

This is ridiculous, I cant even level without the game crashing or going extremely slow, and when I try to write a message to someone I either crash or the keys I pressed show they have been pressed after Ive already pressed it. And when I ask anyone else if they are lagging, its always only me. I've deleted and reinstalled my app twice and restarted my ipod with no success.
I have pretty good wifi and I use the 4th gen iPod, is it because my ipod isn't the newest one? I used to never lag like this, and im getting very fed up with it.

Also, can you try closing all other apps and only having Celtic Heroes running?

that's usually why i lag, too many apps open

I've already tried closing all my apps, but I havent used another wifi. I'll try today
