Is this against the rules if it's just changing like the item pictures but not putting changes on any files that could be used for cheating?

Not quiet sure as ur not actually changing anything but u could be held accountable for altering files. If i had to say i believe the general act of it is against the rules as u have to alter the files to do it and i believe they have against the rules to cover a wide varity of cases ie wall hacking. Now whether they would enforce the rules just for changing the pictures is entirely up to OTM i highly doubt they would as ur not harming anything or taking advantage of anything as its just a picture.

I would also like a confirmation from a forum staff member though because I wanted to make the ugly party hats actually look cooler.

i think otm made this impossible to do. i'll admit to trying thewall hacks after the update but the crashed kept crashing when i tried to open the app, so i gave up and stuck to the rules lol. so i dont think editing the files is possible anymore.

Must be more then one wall hack cause i saw a guy on a Dragon Staff fly into the Castle wall.

If the picture files only affect what YOU see then how can it hurt?

I think that OTM should let designers make their own fashion and change the look of armour and weapons (but not the function of course) and upload it to a Players Shop. If OTM gave the size parameters for each item it shouldn't cause problems. these items could be sold and the revenue mostly go the the game and maybe a little gold per item to the designers.

Player made modded items are so fantastic in games like Dragon Age and the Eldar Scrolls Oblivion compared to the game supplied items and buildings and textures and faces etc etc.

i think what u saw was someone who was lagging cuz that happens when u crash while ur moving. u just keep running until u log, no matter whats in ur way

Altering any files is against the Terms of Service, and if players are found to be doing so their accounts may be disabled without warning.
