On the 21st, I bought plat during the double plat sale and immediately afterwards, the servers went down for maintenance. When I logged back on, no plat was in my account. I checked iTunes and yes, the money was subtracted from my balance, I have the receipt to prove it. So I sent a support ticket an when I logged on today, they said that iTunes hadn't authorized the purchase or something an they couldn't help me. Well I was charged by iTunes and I would like my plat. The total was 140 plat since it was 2x plat.

The exact same thing happened to me, but the money ended up showing up back in my iTunes account almost a week later.

Well hopefully I'll get refunded that way, but if rather get my double plat since it was a one time thing...

Yea i know how you feel. I made a thread in this folder asking for them to allow me to re-purchase it for double plat, or just give me another day of double plat to buy it, because i did try to buy the plat (and it showed up for a short time on my account before i crashed) i figured they should allow this. Sounds like you're in the same boat so hopefully they will allow us both to get the double plat we originally were trying to get.

Hi, if there is evidence of you trying to purchase platinum during double platinum but there was an error on apple's side of processing things then of course we will be happy to look into this and see what we can do to help. Just make a ticket and we shall look into this as soon as we can but please be aware we are dealing with a back-log due to the double-plat and summer event/birthday event update.

Never buy on the first day of the patch, errors will occur for sure, always do it on the second day when the servers are stable for playing
