Can you be more specific in what you have done/how it won't let you start the quest?

I assume you know the quest starts at the Farm.
I also assume you have your Warden weapon.

But assumptions are pointless. What have you done, and what is the problem exactly? Knowing some more information might be helpful for people to troubleshoot or brainstorm ideas.
