Sry if this has been covered, but I am going round in circles trying to solve my problem.

Just downloaded this game but get only to the world select screen then no further, I have only one wifi connection and have tried the other options mentioned, but still cannot get game to start.

Any help would be great.

The only thing to answer your question is get a better wifi connection.
Otherwise your oppurtunity to play this game has plummet.

Wifi connection is spot on, not had a single problem for many years, until I tried to run this game.

My wifi is used for PC games, PS3 games iPhone/iPad games. Music streaming, movie streaming and countless downloads. So I can say without a shadow of doubt that my wifi is trouble free on everything apart from this game.

Just discovered I had tried to get this problem sorted earlier in the year, with no joy. So I don't expect to get any help again this time. It would seem this problem had been reported by some others, but just looks like its been swept under the carpet. Out of sight out of mind seems to have been the order of the day.

Well at least I now know how things work on this forum, and tbh I expected better. More fool me.

Oh sorry i misread your topic. I thought you meant 1 bar on your wifi connection.
There are two methods that i know of to fix this problem. First one is to delete and reinstall the game.
Second one is to turn your device completely off then turn it back on.

Like I said at the start, I have tried the options mentioned but with no effect.

I have been led to believe that this may be a Ports problem, as this only happen through wifi, game is said to work through 3G, but this is wifi only iPad :-(

Well that seems to have failed

You probably need to play close to your router/modem or hardware issue with your idevice/router/modem. Updating iOS seems to fix it for me also upgrading the firmware of your modem/router.
