Cybercrime/cyber theft

#1
this week on Crom kingpitbul s accounts, warrior kingpitbul lvl 187 and druid blueshadow lvl 187 have been taken from him. whilst taken from him someone stripped all items from his characters. He got his warrior back, but without gear. his druid is still in the possesion of someone else. I like to ask support to look into this theft and backtrack login data, chatlogs, transferdata of gear, etc on crom server in order to fine the purpetrator. I hope this will be settled soon and kingpit gets all his stuff back for he is a great and loyal player. He put a lot of effort, time and real cash into celticheroes.

But they can't restore items that were traded to another player.
They decided that they could when that new money glitch happened.
They conveniently took hold and items away from players who legitimately made trades for dodgy gold.

update: in the past kingpitbul lost blueshadow before due to the account was hacked. Nukegirl helped him to get account back. Whilst helping something changed in ownership, kingpitbul wasnt owner of blueshadow anymore. .apperently nukegirl was. kingpitbul had to ask nukegirl to change the password on blueshadow etc. if this information is correct, is it hard to go around it. I would like to ask support if they have knowlegde of the hacking event and if they can back track and find out who got blueshadows account . This way it is possible to find out who deleted the account..

very good to hear that it is possible, because kingpitbul lost a lot of godly and lux items

It's just a shame that the only time they have don't it is when they personally made a mistake. I think dsg is right that they will never refund anything that is not their (OTM's) mistake.

You can't be 'hacked'...

a. Informal To alter (a computer program): hacked her text editor to read HTML.
b. To gain access to (a computer file or network) illegally or without authorization: hacked the firm's personnel database.

Giving away your password and losing your things isn't being hacked... I'm not justifying it in any way but saying it's a 'hack' implies that it's something he couldn't control... Which obviously he could by keeping his password to himself.
