I just started playing this game with my wife and son (age 8). There's some stuff that I like, and quite a few things that make me want to smash my iPad in the street. In-game people are the worst. They seem to only want to beg or sell stuff, and if you shout for any help at all you get ignored.

For instance: wight essences. These make me want to punch random strangers. They're for a quest. I can't for the life of me find a single person in game to direct me toward the quest giver. Google brings up one link that looks like it would give info, a link to this board in fact. I am, "not authorised to read this forum", which is pretty funny given that I can read any other part of this forum EXCEPT FOR THE ONE LINK I NEED.

The wiki page should have moving gifs of tumbleweeds so I can at least be entertained. My wife's ranger skill tome person (Ranger Louarn?) is MIA but listed in Lir's Reach. My son (autistic) can't take two steps without getting spammed with group, guild or duel requests. Trying to complete things to earn free plat (since I'm not rich enough to just buy with cash) crashes the game.

The only entertaining part of it all is that it's simple enough we can all play together, so thank you for that.

It is a quest while being busy with the curse (origins if the curse if im not mistaken)
It is gives to you by the female druid in front of the temple. After you did that she gives you a blessing of belenus

Wow. I no longer remember that quest..

If i remember correctly go to the temple of belenus, you know that huge tower back of high shore( has a green light coming out of top). The Druids on the stairs give the quest.

beginning levels are kinda self explanatory
just go to all the places on your map with "!"
those mark all the spots where there is a quest to be taken

i think Ranger Louarn or whatever is just outside the farcrag castle courtyard
just check out all the spots with coin symbols on them

cant do anything about getting spammed
if its the same person over and over however you can block them

if you need help whisper a higher lvl nicely (say please and thank you ) and most of the rime they will help you but sometimes they are busy.

The trick is not to get to the chase right away. Talk to them, do not let them see your level, after a while of doing so, ask them for help. It will be worth it in the end. Become their friend and then rely on them for helm. Make sure you say a big thank you though. That is what helps me give low level good gear ect.
