RAM needed to run game?

#1
Hi, I am primarily Azog from the Balor android server, and I'm wondering how much RAM is required to run the latest version of celtic heroes? I have a samsung galaxy s2 running Android 4.0.4 with 740mb of RAM.
Often the game lags freezes crashes and causes my Wi-fi to drop and it is making my game unplayable. Max time i can go without game stopping in some way is about 15 minutes at best. So i'm wondering how much RAM is needed for latest version, and what are some ways to make it use less, if any?
Thanks,

Hey Azog.
Only way I know off hand is to drop your graphics quality in the game to save RAM drop to lowest first and see how it runs.if OK go to medium quality and so on.S2 I would have expected to be fine at 1gb ram device.make sure to close an other apps that may be running before playing CH.cya in game dude ,- LORDSPECTOR

Hi Azok

Celtic Heroes will require about 300MB+ to run well. As much free RAM as possible above that is reccommended as memory usage will spike during certain in game occurances such as boss battles with large groups.

Itwill beworth checking how much RAM you have free before launching the game by on turning device off/on. The go to Settings - Applications - Swipe right until on the Running tab - Check how much RAM is available at the bottom of the screen in the blue bar.

If you do not have 300MB+ free then lowering the graphics settings may help and if you are not listening to the sounds or music you can mute them in the in game Options menu and this will save some memory as well.

Out of curiosity do you experience strange i game behaviour before you get logged out? Anything like attacking mobs but no seeing damage numbers displayed or any other strange behaviour?

Thank You

Yes I do. Attack mob but no damage, use skill, which goes all the way around then stops with a blue circle. Basically, buttoms can be pressed and appear to be opperational but still have no effect. I've also been collecting data on bugs on android 4.0.4 and i've found a few in trading (mostly just graphical) I'll compile a list when I have the time :D And thanks for help, I think this is the problem as I have about 200mb free on a regular basis. I'll lower graphics all the way and see how it does.

It sound very similar to a problem i had when playing a home.

My wi-fi connection would often drop out for short periods of time and I would either get that strange behaviour or get disconnected.

I have reccommended that we have a disconnect/ping counter included with the Android version of the game as is the same in iOS version as this shows to the players that it is a connection issue when these sort of things happen.

I wwould still try lowering your graphics settings though and see if this improves the situation.
