^^^^ They would never use a player to verify your account information, and will never ask for your password.

One thumb Mobile, will never contact you in this form (In game public message board) to ask for details of your account, bank account or any of such. If they wish to contact you it will be through the Developer Message Board, which is just a tiny pop-up (The pop-up you see before worlds go down - that message box) or as above stated it will be through email. In this case, please report the character name and world to the in game support tool, alert other players of this scam and block them.
