Device is getting laggy

Hey guys! I use an iPod touch and my device used to run smooth but now is getting laggy, not Internet lag it is device lag, my question is would a factory reset fix it?? Thanks

Free up some space. Delete photos/videos/email. Reset Safari, delete unused apps, etc.

You mean everything except CH?delete unused apps, etc.
