OTMs Polices

Why does OTM not follow their own polices? It clearly states that their will be a warning given before your account will be disabled. However, I was never given a warning and still banned for using NativeX.... I don't understand how this seems perfectly fine to OTM

In this case, they most likely had a mass account disable without warning to prevent the economies on all of the servers from crashing. If they just sent out warnings, all of the ill-gotten plat still out there, would still be out there. The only way to stabilize things without blindly removing ALL of the plat from offending players was to lock those accounts. That has given OTM time to review log files to figure out which plat was purchased and which was obtained through the glitch. Had they not taken these extreme measures, the gold price for plat items would have dropped to nothing and the price to purchase non-vendor weps/armor/drops would have gone thru the roof. In other words, the rich players get richer and the poor players get nothing.
Granted, that much unpurchased plat out there was also hurting OTM's bottom line but I like to think they were doing it to stabilize the economies.
Hopefully someone from OTM can correct me if I am mistaken.

I'll rehash the last paragraph in the link above
Although all users are subject to this disciplinary procedure, if we judge a breach of in-game policy to be very severe, we reserve the right to disable an account without warning. Users may appeal this decision.
In the ToS/TaC, it states that OTM basically can do anything they want and all the data on the servers is owned by one thumb mobile ltd. they can disable someone for no reason and still legally be ok. Disabling accounts that have explored platinum is all up to OTM whather or not they feel it should happen. If the person appeals and didnt know it could be punishable then yes, they most likely will be appealed, but disabling many accounts sends a message out that you will be banned if you glitch plat.

I should not be banned for something that was advertised at the home screen and loading screens. Everytime I login I get a message check the options menu to gain free platinum. So how am I getting banned for OTMs mistakes.

Legally OTM is not at any fault. They can get sued from nativex if they don't enforce people re-doing free platinum offers. They ban the accounts that are at fault to keep it contained and will appeal if it was an honest mistake

OTM Don't need to follow their own polices! They made the game and they own the game. If spell caster happens in the game is all your fault! Got it?

Shortly after the update to the new engine there was indeed a glitch to the Native X offers that allowed people to abuse it and gain too much Platinum.
As Lag said above, once the glitch was identified the worst abusers had their accounts banned before being reviewed.

Even though I have no idea wth this native x glitch is. Why is it that every single disable considered 'severe'. I highly doubt 95% disables are that severe that they can't give out a warning...
Example that happened to my friend
He shared his account with his cousin which at that time they lived in same house. Everyone on the server and clan knew them and knew they shared chars. One day out of the blue he Was disabled without warning.
Yes he knew it was against tos to share accounts, but is it really that severe to disable without warning for sharing with your cousin
Really?

Shortly after the new engine went live, a clannie was bragging in our Line group that they had aquired enough plat through the glitch to buy 2000 chests. That means 80,000 plat. They may have exaggerated the number but I would say this and others like it made up your 95% of disables OTM stamped as 'severe' enough to ban without warning.

I get that. Obviously the people who intentionaly abuses glitch should be banned. Those who barely did it. Only couple times should have received a warning not a ban.
