Link does not exist?

A friend said that they had tried to register their email and said he was given a link, when he tapped on the link, it said "link does not exist". Any idea on how to resolve?
We recently did a patch that should fix this functionality but some addresses I think the system still has a problem with.
Is he able to resend the link?
Maybe tell him to PM me I should be able to fix it for him
