What is the best non-physical type of damage (not slash,crush,pierce) besides poison

Well with ice you do more damage to fire casting mobs(such as aggy, mord, etc) but with fire you do more damage to a mob with the skill lure of fire on it (Lots of mages are fire so this is common in a boss fight) All around I see most people buy fire weapons for that reason over ice.
