How do I get a virus off of this thing?

I've had a Samsung tablet for a while now and I've no idea how to get this stupid virus off of it. I downloaded some form of .apk file for a wallpaper a while back, and it takes up 27 GB of storage, but the initial download of it was 18 MB. If someone knows how to remove this it would be great, I'm not an Android genius...

Does it show up in Settings - Apps?
You could always get some form of file explorer and root around for the files.
That or it might be a format, last I heard "Android Virus Scanners" don't actually do anything.

Settings -> Storage & USB -> Whichever folder is biggest. Your file is probably in Apps or Other so click one of those two.
From there you can see what is taking up the most space. Then you can delete it using the default samsung file explorer.

Found a file named cachekeylog, takes up 18 GB, and won't let me delete it.

That sounds bad, that sounds like a key logger potentially.
You might want to do a fresh sweep, is it rooted? I'd check SuperUsers permissions if so.

Try a factory reset

I'm not rooted, no. But its starting to worry me. Now everytime I unlock it and visit the browser it redirects me to cinnamon roll websites. It is really a bad bugger... Unfortunately I may just have to factory reset. (Issue is my pictures are on there :/)

just find a way to backup your photos before you do the restart.

I just had a kid I found on Facebook reset it for me and stick the photos on a flashdrive. $10 for all that, I'd say not so bad.
