Character Transfer from One iOS Device to Another.

Hello there. I've just gotten back from taking a massive break from Celtic Heroes. I have not played it properly in a couple of years and clearly, a lot has changed.
Apologies if there is already another thread similar to this one, but I'm tired and do not have the time to search for one similar to this one.
Recently, I have gotten a new iOS device (iPod 6) since my old one (iPhone 4S) was suffering major hardware issues and was becoming a drag to use. I've been slowly but surely been coming back to mobile gaming as of late and I've been meaning to try out Celtic Heroes.
Please keep this in mind. I attempted to play earlier this year on my iPhone 4S before it suffered a couple hardware issues (which resulted in the inability to use the wifi). I logged in and my character was all there, in all of his glory.
Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case with iPod 6. I redownloaded Celtic Heroes, logged in and my character is gone. Most likely still on my iPhone but definitely not on my new device. Is there any sort of way to transfer this character to my new device or am I stuck for good?
I've attempted to back up my iPhone using iTunes and put a lot of the data on my new iPod, but that hasn't worked. I've looked around for third-party programs, but that only resulted in me developing a couple of trust issues with websites.
Any response regarding this situation would be greatly appreciated, and apologies for any possible grammar/spelling mistakes. I'm incredibly tired and I'm making this thread so I don't forget to do it in the morning.
