Hey guys I just started playing CH, and I have an important question. I've noticed so far that monsters won't chase after me, and for me there's no strategy involved In that. Is there any agroe in the game when you get to higher levels? And what is the level cap anyhow?

Thanks so much !

Hi. Welcome.

Yes there is aggro and mobs should chase you. However, they can have a fairly limited range and you will need to discover that. If you exceed the mob pull range they reset and return to where you find them, unless you are grouped and a group member is still in the mobs range, in which case they switch aggro to that group member.

On some classes kiting is possible.

Aggro management skills:
Relative level and aggro range, i.e. you will get aggro at greater range from mobs higher than you.
Damage and heals both attract aggro of course.
Taunt, Warcry, Bash from Warriors... These are the most commonly used crowd control/aggro management skills.
Conceal from rangers.
Distract from rogues. Maybe Play Dead...
Calm from Druids.

Also, the higher the level difference the closer you can get to mobs without them attacking you( you have to be higher than them.).
Have fun playing, if your in crom feel free to send me a whisper.

Really?
I noticed that whenever I check on Bonehead, the crookbacks don't attack attack me unless I'm practically touching them. They seemed to chase me from afar when I was a noob. I thought it had something to do with the update.
