TL;DR: hiyas. Kelandros, druid. New. Lf a nice casual guild on Lir. Fix targeting

Hi all, Kel here, druid of Lir.
I just started playing a few days ago but can tell this is a game I can get into. I have been playing MMO's since '99(EQ>EQ2 and several more during/since) and whenever possible play a druid/warden. Ive always been a solo leveler but took my group/raid healing role seriously. I've been raid level (eventually- i like to enjoy the playthrough) in every game I've played. The skillset and playstyle of druids in this game is very reminiscent of that. I can play it on my phone!?...take my money.(though I'll be spending as little as possible :) ) Seriously, good job devs.

I tend to ramble in forums, so I better limit this to two paragraphs.
So... shameless /lfguild er, clan plug here. I'd like to grow with a guild if it has mature, sane members or a more established guild that doesn't mind me takin a druid year to level. I hate drama nearly as much as I hate a bad tank but im not a guild hopper. Unless there are fundamental differances I tend to stay with guilds for years. I expect a probation but i dont expect attendance reqs. Im casual these days.

Ok so one more because i've noticed the admins actually look at these posts. Ive only been in one group so far and i may be missing something but the targeting system sucks. I saw something about it in one of the posts talking about suggested changes and i really gotta +1 that. Specific to me, as a healer, it would be awesome to have an implied target(target of my target). The ui window could be as small as you like, just so we could confirm what he/she's targeting. That way i could maintain my primary healing target and cast my dots/nukes/debuffs on the mob without  having to spend precious seconds retargeting. Assist macros would be better all around(also covered in that thread) but i think implied target would be easy to implement untill you can make those ui changes.

Seeyas in game, Kelandros -the drunken drood

Welcome! Also solo lvling is really hard for any class after 120. i suggest going with a hybrid build (bees, vines, storm touch, natures touch) and then once ur in a higher lvl for boss raids, thats when u heal. Unless u chose to be one of the dps druids in a raid.

But have fun :D ive enjoyed this game forever
