Hide works in otherworld but you have to get through the eyes first. They see even through a camo charm at times.

hide does not work on lava

Hide is lame better upgrade other skill u can't do anything with it it's just 30sec and then they see u I don't upgrade it u can sneaky on all mobs without hide exept rangers

In my opinion the lava gets a pass on rendering hide useless... Even invisibility pots don't work on lava. Meditate, recuperation, or any other skill with a lingering effect is worthless on lava. I did use hide until the update that made hide non-continuous. Back in the catacomb days you could cast it as soon as it cooled down and stay hidden indefinitely. Now there is a split second of time where you are visible anyway so all you have is 30 seconds before getting attacked by something unless you happen to get to a safe zone. I think skill points are better used on dps skills and if you want to get the second OW leystone get a invis potion... (1 plat apiece)

No, IMO

it is because you can get to bosses. if you are level 60 and you are trying to get to the second leysotne in the otherworld, its super useful. the mobs there are level 100 or lower or above.

If u were a lvl 60 u couldnt use hide to get to tower... hide maxed at lvl 60 is 20 yes? So hide maxed would only work upto lvl 100. So once u hit trees and golems your going to have a hard time making it through, therefore its a pointless skill

I don't use hide anymore. It doesn'twork in the lava places or in the eyes.

Hides basically useless, I'd put points in assassinate or sneaky
