Sept 20th is my birthday. Let's not get emotional. I am old.
In honor of this Year's continued decent into older-ness. I am going to host a Novelty Ability Contest. You have almost a week to complete it.
I am doing this primarily because the summer event has gifted us all with a slew of new Novelty Carpets, many of us have them or have their precursors.. Brooms, or Sleds and lack at times a real impetus to use them. Well here you go!
Contest Rules:
Please post your "Starting" Novelty Ability to enter into the contest as a participant. You can enter until Tuesday 18th, at 11:59:59PM PDT (Seattle Time) then before Thursday 11:59:59PM (Seattle Time) post your final ability score to complete the contest. Seattle time is -7 GMT
The contest entering period is now over....
ALL POSTED SCORES NEED TO BE SCREENSHOTS, and will (sadly) be studied for photoshopping with photoshop tools.
In addition, all Ability scores must read in WHITE, not Green, since this is your true ability score, not yer ability wearing a ring. Please don't submit Green numbers. They will not count.
If for whatever reason..this thread gets locked due to trolls or whatever I will try to repost it, but you can also PM me the info Start/End Screenshots if the thread does get griefed and we need to get creative. after Tueday I will repost all contestants and their Starting Score and on Friday sometime I will list winners and start to contact them.
The winners will be total overall score, so if you already have a max'd novelty score and yer lvl 152 chances are you just won 20 combo lix, so be it, but the contest exists to allow people who wish to a chance to win some stuff, and if they lose a reason to gain the silver lining of having a much better novelty score.
Prizes:
1st Prize with highest overall Ability Score: 20 Super Combo Elixirs (delivered to your main on your server)
2nd Prize with second highest Ability Score: 10 Super Combo Elixirs (delivered to your main on your server)
3rd Prize with third Highest Abilty Score: 10 Super Knowledge Elixirs (4x Exp) (delivered to your main on your server)
Honorable Mention: I will be handing out a top tier Carpet to the lower level who posts either the biggest increase from zilch-serious novelty skill or something seriously impressive. This Honorable mention is decided by me, since I am dropping cash which most likely will be plat cash since chances are it's not my world...so it's not a guarentee you get biggest increase you deserve it kinda thing...but I will try to be fair or flip a coin if it's close. But point is, some noob will win a carpet for their hardworking amidst knowing they will never win overall against higher levels.
How will Prizes be handled and handed out?
After Announcing Winners I will PM them and find time zones and times that we both are free. Mon/Tues are my days-off so most likely you may hafta wait till then to receive yer prize since I can't log on outside my time zone till I have the ability to do so logistically.
But I am a Weasel of my word, and I will get you your prize as I did previously in the Druid Staff Ability contest to those 5 winners.

Starting Novelty is just a stat for records so everyone at the end can see how much people went up, it has no bearing on the contest other than for the noob segment, the winners are still overall skill
