I understand the issue, and I understand the beef. But, the beef and the issue are different.
El asks why does a Ranger item have +200 Spear?
Admin Answers that it's because it's a multi-class item, open to any class with a spear.
Then the item, already rocking a ranger only ability gets changed to "Ranger Only"
El now argues that because Admin previously argued that the item wasn't bow because it could be multi-class used, now there is no argument for why it shouldn't be bow.
And therefore it should be a bow.
This is a jump in reasoning skills. I fully understand that it would be more useful to you if it had Bow Skill and not Spear Skill but that doesnt necessarily mean it must have it. Even when the argument that Admin previously offered has been rendered invalid...it still doesnt mean that the item must now use Bow.
Rangers **can** use Spears. Why would they? When the class quest weapon is a Bow and all their skills are Bow Based? Well that's a valid question, but it could be that the item is simply a Ranger Spear item, not a broken item.
You are jumping to a conclusion that isn't wholly rational, just definately preferable.
And while I can empathize with yer preference, it doesn't necessarily mean you can flip over the stats of an item just because you would rather they were flipped. Now you have a valid argument that a Ranger item should think about not using Spear, until there is an option to get a Ranger/Rogue/Warrior frozen met spear.... But the title of this post & implicitly threatening to quit over it? Come on
