I like the idea of a day/night cycle. I also liked the idea of nocturnal mobs. Imagine if the castle had problems with vampires, wearwolves, or undead when the sun went down? Certain bosses could only spawn if there was no sunlight, then the introduction of "light" or 'holy" weapons could be used to damage them, etc... Lots of possibilities.
Great idea! Like silver weapons could do more damage against werewolves, holy weapons against undead, and wooden(?) weapons against vampires.
They would emerge during the night and kill unwary adventurers.

You all need to be more patient. Instead of quitting, take a break for a month and go and volunteer during the time you would play Celtic Heroes or something.

The update will come when it's ready and if rushed, then you will probably find so many bug that everyone will just moan even more.
All ive cared about having in this game is a transfer system to make buying and selling go more efficiently as well as being able to help some noobs with lower lvl gear, and not having to bug my friends for a transfer when my space of 60 inventory slots and 50 bank slots gets too full to fast travel. and its been in the works for 9+ months now with excuses after excuses on why it hasnt been implemented yet, thats the time for a human sperm cell takes to develop into a baby human.... so it takes the same amount of human genes to replicate into a human child as it takes to write a code to make a transfer system?

Its actually kind of impossible when everyone who plays this game lives in a different timezone.

The time zone has nothing to do with it it could be set on any certain time zone that lasts a short amount of time and there for if you play for hours a day you can always enjoy it wheater night or day cuz there for you get to do more just as if you get more quests new mobs etc so nothing is impossible :)

Shorter day/night cycle. People have said that it should be like 4 hours.
Yeah that would be great for the game make it a lot more interesting to new players and players since game came out like me,

It's not possible in the current engine, but we are launching a brand new cross platform engine in a few months in update 5 which will be able to do things like this, so it's going to be very exciting when this is out a whole lot of new possibilities will open up.
Please, please, please, please Make this an OPTION when you implement it! And don't tie quests/mobs to the cycle.

Well what if it's night time everytime i log in because that is how it's set? Day time while im sleeping means i always see the dark. It's hard to explain but when it's always a certain time of day/night when you play and it is unplesent, people dont play.

Here, imagine this... You log in at about 2:00pm your time. It's dark out. You get off at 9:00 during your second session just as it becomes morning. It happens everyday. How would you like that?
it would be fine if it went by game time.
