Hi there
My plan for the charms was to keep adding new charms until players have a very large number of options on how to make their characters look.
However some players are asking that the charms be only sold during events.
It would be great to hear your thoughts on whether you prefer all the charms all year round, or to just have specific charms available for sale during events? So for example fairy and goblin charms would only be during summer, skeleton charms at haloween etc.
Re: fairy / goblin charms - stay or go?
#2Hey Admin,
When these charms came out were they intended to stay for the event or permanently? Personally I think they were intended to be permant as they had no *summer 2012* stamped on their description.
That said, I think they need to stay. These charms add alot more customisation AND they help make up for the lack of races.
In other games people are given races to customize their chars to their likings. So some people will choose elves, some will choose humans and some will choose goblins. In Celtic Heroes we can do these same things but with charms! And the fact that it won't tie us down to one look is Awesome! So one day you can be a human, the next a goblin or even a skeleton. The customisation options are huge. And just imagine in about a year we'd have some crookbacks, some fairies and maybe even some golems running around. All this adds up to a more interesting game as we won't always look like other people.
To sum it all up:
Yes I think they should stay.
They add more options to your chars looks.
They won't hurt anyone by being kept around

The fact that I've seen clans specifically aimed at these charms is a perfect example of why these charms should stay.
E.g there are clans called <CrookBack> and <GlimmerWing> these are fun lil clans that you must be wearing the right charm to be a member.

#3I think they should stay, there isn't many fashion options yet and they provide a nice option.
Btw more fashion clothes for body and legs would be nice, preferably separate pieces unlike suit which takes up both slots.

Re: fairy / goblin charms - stay or go?
#4Most of the time there is an event going on. If certain items are available only during certain events it makes them a little bit more special. As long as they come back and not forever be gone, I think it's okay if they go and come back next year.

#5Can I make another suggestion?
What would peoples thoughts be on removing the charms from the regular vendors, but adding them to the Platinum store? Therefore, when a charm is first introduced it can be bought from a regular vendor for Gold, but after a period of time the charm migrates to the Platinum store?

#6Placing these charms in the platinum store is a bad idea because what happens if other people who don't buy plat want to buy it but they can't buy it because its in the store that makes it unfair on those people who can't buy it

#7If you put it in the plat store it should be tradable. But I would like the charmsCan I make another suggestion?

To stay because new people see em and think the game is awsome so they stay

Re: fairy / goblin charms - stay or go?
#8I think that would be a win-win situation. It makes them a "premium" semi-rare item, OTM earns cash later, and if you were able to farm enough gold during the even to buy one, you essentially get it platinum-free.Can I make another suggestion?

Re: fairy / goblin charms - stay or go?
#9@ Admin I think it's a great idea. But have a solid date when they will be removed. And let the "Trader" say the date when he will restock or leave the area.
- When buying these items with platinum they should still be able to be traded with other players.
Idea?:
- A rare trader that shows up sometimes with "Junk" He will sell old fashion items for a good amount of cash. ? (This shop is random and will only sell a few items.)

#10That is a good idea Community; as others said, it will keep them somewhat rare and yet give players a chance to still purchase them, as well as provide more income for OTM. Also, as others said they should be tradeable if you buy them from the plat store.
