Re: H2H Built, does it really rock?

Yes I also thought about the variables affecting the true DPS of H2H as opposed to Icon but decided against it as it is too complex. This is why I decided to go with a very simple version just focusing on the H2H / Icon with damage gear. I assume with H2H ability + totem ability being equal, H2H will deal 30 swings (less mob evasion) while Totem will deal 20 swings (Less mob evasion). You are right overall that H2H may have more successful chances in landing a hit due to the 10 extra swings.

My initial post was also based for a mid-level built as I felt H2H is really only workable for a high level built. So again with an lv 50/ lv 80 built who has probably slim chances of getting any radiant gear plus lv requirement, it will be as what I mentioned

H2H damage with golden blade (Lv 50)
205 dmg, 1337 H2H ability
Diamond Icon (55 crush) with golden blade (Lv 80)
466 dmg, 1386 Totem ability
H2H - 205 per 2 sec swing, 2050 per 20 sec swing, 6150 per 1 min swing
Icon - 466 per 3 sec swing, 4660 per 30 sec swing, 9320 per 1 min swing

So the damage difference will be icon dealing 3.2k in damage which will probably be 1.4k to 1.8k again with resistance. I suppose the lv 80 druid can try to secure some forms of damage gear such as solstice but the additional elemental dmg seems to be very mild and hence I excluded it. This obviously changes when the druid becomes lv 100 but again this is assuming a lv 100 druid is able to secure full damage gear to reach the 555 damage

It’s interesting you mentioned the dark Grim book. I have not gotten it yet and I have only seen it once so I never really thought about it. But I recalled the weapon speed to be 3050: http://www.onethumbmobile.com/celticher ... =4&t=16155

Anyway, just assuming your 1750 weapon speed is correct. I admit it has great potentials for H2H built but it also support my initial thoughts that H2H is still meant for high level druids
Lv 1 – 49 druid (Can start training for H2H or totem)
Lv 50 druid (Can start buying the lv 50 ow lux but TBH, how many lv 50 druids can in reality actually get an ow lux without any help?)
Lv 80 druid (Meet lv requirement for Diamond Icon, may have enough gold for golden blade or Icon or both)
Lv 100 druid (may need to spend a ton of gold or lots of luck in securing all radiant dmg gear)
Lv 150 druid (Secure the Dark Grimoire for 1750 weapon seed) *WS is assumed, may be wrong*

Don’t get me wrong, overall H2H built may still overall be fantastic for interrupts but it has to go through huge hurdles before one small druid can become a true Martial Arts Master
MorphMarfa has retired from Celtic Heroes and most probably wont be resurfacing. He had a enjoyable time during his druid adventures in Taranis.

I also have been playing around with it. Have to say I love it. With the proper gear I don't have to switch skills to solo efficiantly. I'm full support Druid that can solo shred anything Around my lvl before embrace wears off.
