It is funny how the dev team react so fast when crybabies are in favor of putting away anything that is against their plat system, in this case it was indeed a real joke, i can really imagine written in red on their patch board to do list : "URGENT CHANGE ALL PIES TO NON TRADE".

I guess after reading the post in question : "mama pies are OP", celtic heroes's team must have push the red button alert and do a very serious brainstorming of 2 minute : "indeed with a large supply of pies, tanks will be able to get extra hp all along a boss fight, meaning less elixir and idols spending and money in our pockets, we made a extremely serious mistake again, we need to make them non trade right away."

I also think it is once again just a sign Of how greedy they can be. They give us a repetitive quest, we are rewarded a pie, and cannot even give it to a player, sell it. Of course I understand you cannot sell or trade a galcial wep, but a pie ! Come on !!!!

Two crybabies against hundred of player wanting the pies back... And here we are you will never get you free trade pies... Now classified in the utmost dangerous "against the plat MATRIX items OP list", with camo and bloodlust... lol !!!

Would you like some energy pies? We could add somethign to make those as well if you like.
Yes please. We would like all flavors if possible :D Haste pies, attack pies, defence pies, evade pies, pies that create weapon procs, cloak of fire pies, damage pies, and maybe pies that do nothing at all but make cool sparkly/smokey/fire effects like the birthday cakes did. Whatever you decide is fine by me!

Admin, I like the idea of energy pies.

Riffing on this, is it possible to set up some of the quests so that you can choose your reward? While I do like the randomization of rewards, it's also nice to know that I'll be getting something useful for my class. At present, my support druid has a lot of no-trade health quiches that are virtually useless given the way I play him. I doubt that it was OTM's intent that I change my playing style based on this quest reward.

For example, in the single player iOS RPG Aralon: Sword and Shadow, there are a number of quests where the quest giver says something along the lines of: here's the quest, the rewards are x amount of gold and/or y amount of xp and/or your choice of item a, b, or c. The items are class-dependent, however a spell caster might choose the melee weapon because the spell caster item isn't as good as the one you already have, and the melee weapon has higher resale value to a vendor than the spell caster reward.

How could this work for Gaston's quest? You could choose the ability of the pie (health, energy, etc.) but the quality of the pie would still be randomized.

This would also give more incentive to repeating the Retaking Fairyland quest: I have a large stockpile of fairy battlestaves that I will likely never use, and I'm pretty sure some of my ranger friends have spears that they find useless. It would be great if we could choose the weapon either for our own use or to sell on.

Yes, I know this is probably an app update feature rather than a patch. A workaround could be to have three or four NPCs offering the same quest, but with different rewards. Gaston gives health pies, his colleague Frederic gives energy pies, etc.
