To team up with friends, clan mates or whoever, to take bosses down to get items for gear, or just gear.
To play a MMO.

Re: Important Question!!!
#6If you've never played an MMO before then I guess it does take a little bit of 'splainin. First this is an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) this is A specific description of the games genre (or type) for instance there are also FPS (First Person Shooter) games out there which are pretty effectively self described. Anyway, an MMORPG is an online game with thousands of others players online simultaneously playing together in order to fulfil or "play" a role. The RPG can mean different things but what it has always signaled to me is that the game requires leveling and, to some extent, character decelopment (upgrading skills, stats, armor, etc.)
Back to OP question, what is the point?
-level up by killing monsters to increase the capabilities associated with your character.
-explore new areas and comtent uncovered as you progress through the game
-complete quests as you desire in order to earn items/gold/experience used to upgrade your character
-meet new players and band together with them in order to complete more challenging tasks such as bosses
-make friends as you're able to by helping others in areas where you know what to do but they don't.
These are the core concepts of MMORPGs and this advice will normally apply to any online RPG game.
Celtic Heroes is no exception. MMORPG players typically require patience, cognitive thinking, an ability to multi-task, charisma (to some extent), an desire for improvement (perfection is some cases), and a general friendliness about them.
These game are not mindless hack and slashes or button mashing games that game be played by anyone picking it up for the first time. You will die, you will learn, you will progress, you will be set back, you will
Meet people you like and some you don't, you may figure things out easily or need to use recourses such as
Forums in order to research particular things. This game is not overtly friendly to new plays but if you enjoy MMORPGs and have the patience/skill to Play it enough then this could certainly be an RPG that you enjoy.

Re: Important Question!!!
#7Tyrant I agree with everything you said, except the part about thousands playing online together. On Morrigan there are only a handfull of people just thousands of multi-charing alts.
