Celtic Heroes

Well, I'm just thinking, games can only go on for so long. Then soon they won't have any new Idea's with this kind of platform, since PC can do more things. Won't they just eventually run out of Idea's and begin to fade away?

I'm pretty sure things wont fade away seeing its only been a year right? They still got stuff to add right? Hope so.
how boring is it as a high level?

i just started so my opinion probably doesnt mean much.

Its a couple of 4 years old 2d mmos the still going strong on ios , a few 3 years old text base mmosthe are doing really good.

The time will come where each player will see if 2+ gb of space is worth it but by them problably at 64gb idevice will be the the standard.

With time this game will be multiplataform and if gets bigger and refine enough may take spot on the pc mmo community with the choice to be portable so sky is the limit.

We are heading more into newer technology and more portable device so I can see a IOS mmo like Celtic Heroes lasting indefinitely. I also highly doubt that we will ever run out of ideas seeing as how the human imagination is unlimited. Besides, the ideas that fuel this game come from hundreds of happy players and at least a dozen fine developers.

All this from a level 80 who has only just ventured into the OW?

Imo, a good game will last at least 10 years.

Can this game prematurely die?

Yes.

Here would be the reasons:

Not fixing problems
not fixing balance
not being open with the community

notice how not one of those said "not adding new content"
They need to focus on fixing problems and balance before even thinking about new content.

First of all, I'm a really old player. Been playing since five months since it began, like to talk so I level slowly, also have a life and little time to play each day. And they don't have that much good Idea's kinda repeating events. You can only go so far until the game is just cluttered with stuff. (Don't judge a player by it's level, also level 85 at the moment.)
