So the dragon totem makes the main hand book obsolite

We are only speculating. Beta hasn't started, OTM hasn't shared. But they seemed intent on making the "last" quest echelon of gear be the real summit in quest gear... What this means? Who knows. Are the books dropped still gonna be better? Maybe, maybe not. I would guess quest gear of this echelon would prove to be extremely valuable for a specific reason...further quest lines etc..but we have all be proven wrong before (I.e Druid/Mage Frozen)

Are the books dropped still gonna be better? Maybe, but till the game makes a Tomes Skill, anything using your "Totem Skill" will still be better with the 1300-1500+ or whatever ability added to yer DMG conversion pool.

Tomes use hand to hand ability, so there is no need for a new tomes ability.
