I have dueled lots of mages my level. I win about 90% of the time using my warrior or ranger against a mage. I win about 50% with my rogue against a mage.I win about 75% with my druid against a mage. I never lose to another mage on my mage. I spoke of high level mages because you are a very high level. My main point is that you are probably not using a good PvP build and any mages high enough to accept a duel challenge from you are probably better than your average mmo player and they are also using a good PvP build.

Well I cant speak for your world but all the mages on herne mages never lose no matter the level.

I'm a lvl 150 Mage and took on 4 rangers in arena at the same time and won.

2 rangers have full radiant and are lvl 150 and the others were lvl 120+

Obviously the mages weren't double shielding.

Like I said, my lvl 125 mage could kill (and never loose to) any player (besides a couple of other mages) on the entire server! They all had waay better gear and waay higher level than me.

Dogma, this is a bad example. You may be the best mage on all servers, with all of your skill evasion abilities maxed, aggragoth gear, and after seeing the build you posted in another topic, I know you have a great PvP build.

I also know the lvl 150 rangers you are referring to an they are terrible at PvP. I almost beat cheech's ranger with my 110 druid, and I did beat her lvl 140 druid with my 110 druid. Those rangers wearing radiant armor (terrible for PvP in most cases btw) probably had about 100 ice and fire resist and less than 2k health because they never have any vitality.

You aren't really proving that mages are OP, just reinforcing my statement that people who have the right build and gear, and people who are generally good at the game, will do well in PvP. It just so happens that people playing mages regularly fit this description.

Saying mages are overpowered is ridiculous. All our damage is done at beginning of fight. Yes the time between ice shards has been decreased, but it needed to be. It was ridiculous. If anything mages are now useful as before they were useless. It may seem like a drastic change to u super, but thats only because from where mages were so bad before.

I've been using all my spare time to level my Rogue. Because that is the future and not the mage.

Until One Thumb adds more "content" for PvP. There's absolutely no point going who is op and who isn't.
