well i have somethings i was tring with my druid that seem pretty cool to me i am only lvl 15 or so now i have other char. but this is for my druid .... i was lvling last night and this was working very for me . I used roots then vines on one mob and then while he was stuck in place and on the decline i would auto attack and lighting a second mob i was getting two kills in the time it took for one in the past ... mostly it was like fighting two mobs at once which is not possible with most classes but with roots n vines doing the killing and a training partner we were killing everything getting 3 kills in seconds sharing gold n xp its was a great exp. for me n my training partner . has anyone tried this method on high lvl mobs and will the same tatic work if i keep upgradeing the skills..?? any advice ? or comments welcome i only tryed this for 30 mins or so but .... plz advise

Hello there, I read a few topics about druids and the potential of a druid just blew me away. I have a lvl 103 druid and Im trying to better it as I now realize how much more better it can be. But I don't know what my stats should look like or which skills to use.

What Im looking for is a decent tank with outstanding heals and maybe a lil bit of damage mixed in the works.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks BlackMamba of Crom.
Awsome get my chance to return the flavor and help another Druid out. I can tell u what works for me. I use a setup something like this. Max touch embrace and bark,I then put 27 points into vines (30 with ring) and dump rest in abundance.

Those are the skills but here's the super important part that makes this work for me....gear. I use two dif sets depending on situation. I have a lesser earthstone set golden offhand sword golden haste gloves and golden helm. I use this gear with hand to hand combat with the vines. Even with most of my gear being fire element damage I shred a one star golem in about 30 seconds that's my level. Would like to point out that I got the lesser earthstone pieces because saved me a lot of gold and was easier for me to aquire since it isn't the "best" gear ingame from dragons.

For healing I switch into diamond with master grimorie Golden crown of wizardry with diamond totem. Now mind you the only spell I'm missing from my basic "support" set-up is natures breath. So with just a switch of gear I go from solo to a boss healer.

And last but not least.....my stats. Bare with no gear bonus added are as followed....5 strength 125 dex 330 focus (which is what I'll be adding all my points in from here on out) and 200 vit.

I have around 1700 health with abundance in lesser earthstone pieces I have. That with the added def from the dex allows me to finish mobs off most of time without using a touch at all just keeping embrace rolling. the dex is also important do to the amount of hits you land with your hands. With that much focus combined with a +2 to my touch bringing it to 32/30 I have a heal of 1011. Now in my normal "support" stat set up I go with 120 vit and rest focus I only heal for around 1100 with same ring set up. So all in all I didn't take much of a hit to my healing power at all. Only thing I lost was my group heal, which isn't a big deal because the other Druids I boss with all have that spell so that's covered.

I'll go in game take a pic of stats and post it here in a edit a bit later to give u better idea. This is what works for me and hopefully it will help you in the right direction. Sorry for the long post but guess was shortest way I could explain it lol. Anyways fellow Druid good luck and I hope you find something useful here to help you. Take it easy.

How does a healer focus Druid make money? Many of these post toss around ideas for equipping a solid support Druid but I find mine is constantly broke. I am 36 level and doubt I have made more than 12k. Everything is so expensive. Soloing is a pain with everything dumped in to Natures touch and Focus each level and the drops don't pay off. The items I do pick up aren't worth the time spet selling them. Nobody seems to want a Conact axe. My Clan doesn't pay me to follow and heal. If I want diamond gear how do I get there? Thanks.
Hurling invectives just feels right.

Well i walk around fine and dandy, you know why? I joined a good clan who gears me, so therefore i don't have to worry about my gear, warden, meteoric, frozen meteoric. The drawback to which case is that i have to donate ALL boss drops unless given permission. With this comes me, being a level 100+, i get called up to boss hunting a lot. Having more than 1,300 heal, i get called to most bosses. This is how i get gold, bosses that are full, tend to give more or less 1,000. I do not buy anything when i need to buy something. I save up, i don't even buy anything worth 1 gold. Unless i get good deals, which i end up not using anyways, those good deals, i sell for a higher price. Or if the person sold it to me cheap, i sell them to others for the standard price.

A side note, a level 36 should not even be rushing to bosshunting, i suggest you level first. Especially with otherworld bosses, i suggest a minimimum of 90 to start going into boss hunting. Gold will come to you sooner or later. High level druids are always needed in each and every boss. If there is no druid in one, i suggest ignoring them as they are fairly new to the game, even if they are 150. Druids are the key to success in a boss hunting group. Actually, not to be a hypocrite or anything, but anyone know the “Test of Regulus” quest where you have to kill all major bosses in the otherworld? Yes, i finished it at level 60. Being a druid is essential to survival. I've solo healed a woodcrown group.

No worries, gold will come to you sooner or later. Be sure to put leveling as the top priority. Don't come and try to do bosshunting at an early level. I remember when i was your level, my max gold was 1,000. I was pretty much amazed at that! 1,000 gold was so rare to me, i had never gotten even 1,000! So now, i run around carrying 500,000 gold. I am actually lucky for some reason, but not with rolling the dice. I lost rolling the dice twice. The first with a Royal Ring of Nature's Touch, the next being a Dark Grimoire Book of Nature Magic. But overall, when i am in a group, i've always (never not) gotten a drop. Right now, i have full radiant armour, apart from boots, as i have two. I could run around in that, but i dont intent i use it and i dont see how it is useful for a pure support druid. Also as an ending tip, try not to use elixers of any sorts until you are level 90 and up. The first one I've used one was at level 103. From 73 until now, i still level at the otherworld caverns, at wyverns 145-150. You see how pure support druids are important?

Any feedback is appreciated,

Thanks for your replies, to be honest, I was getting bored with a pure support druid. But you've encouraged me to stick with it. Tyvm, Dragonmouth of Crom. 8-)
If i may ask, what discouraged you to stop being a pure support?

Honestly, most likely than not, the pure support build is the most unique build of all in a sense that not many people choose this build since you die easily, but if you look at the bigger picture, it is the most needed out of all the druid builds.

In Taranis, i am possibly one of two people that are pure supports. The other is in the same clan as i, he specializes in wards, as mentioned in one of the replies above. The other two are both hybrids, but we all coordinate to get the better picture of helping one another. Clans will need you the most when you use up your maximum potential at healing and buffing.

Thank you for you coordination, recognition, and reconsideration, i greatly appreciate that someone else would agree to me to much extent.

The people that you have mentioned are in theILLUMINATI, I am in Pride. Anyhow, Pr1est specializes in high heal, Alpha in abundance, 8Ball is hybrid, specializing in Lightning Strike.

The person i am coordinating with in my clan is Ying, Siobon, and Surter. Ying is with wards and Shield of Bark, siobon is in Nature's Embrace, Surter is in Nature's Touch, and I am in Abundance. I am not saying that since we specialize in a buff that our Nature's Touch is low, mine is at second right now, Surter's at first, i believe Siobon and Ying are around the same.

@Quercos : either what your quote coding is wrong, or that you are. I did not say the first five paragraphs of what you've quoted, i have no idea where you ame up with that, it is not insulting, but i dont understand what you are trying to quote? Also, you don't have a response, which further baffles me.
