Once again the proof of OTM deep creative ingenious brainstorming in 2 minutes released quests.

WELCOME TO CELTIC FARMERS : "You will farm hours mobs to get precious items, or get lucky and get them from our special placeholders preventing you to fight real bosses" (having extremely good bateries and drinking a lot of cafeine to stay awakee is a must !)

WELCOME TO CELTIC CAMPERS : "If you camp for hours right on the spawn places of the bosses, you may be able to lock bosses up and get all the drops for your greedy crew" (beeing extremely greedy is a must !)

WELCOME TO CELTIC RUNNERS : "Discover our repetitive quests, run for hours and collect without any challenge thousands of pumpkin or stones during our special events and get rewarding exactly the same item but of different color. If you have no life, you will be rewarded with a white mask, the proof that you know how to memorize obvious spawn places and virtually run for days !!!" (waking up early and playing until very late is a must if you want to get these precious useless items)
Yeah, the reward is pointless, and no-lifing is rewarded (to reward dedication). There is nothin wrong with that. The problem is that people don't want to do it yet they do it anyway and complain. I have a purple party hat and a white mask, but guess what! It's a simple decision this time, just don't do it!

So If I see a white hat on someone's head, I will respect their dedication.

After reading the whole tread only to 2 players support this insane model.


The general idea the only few players who have the time or the gold/ real money can get the those hats is adsurd but pll here will defend a broken model, I did the white mask and the purple hat i set a clan for new players to farm them for me at 120g a piece helping them get in to the game, around 1 million on those mask/hats but to farm 10.5k pumpkings is just moronic.....

Game is getting boring server are looking empty , and the devs keep listen to same old same players ....

The new model upgrading is good to ge a color but not the amount of hats , should be only base on red hats 3 5 7 10 12 but not acuumulative .... Is your game but for oacth just release servers are bad shape. Less and less ppl .

making it possible to get one of these red hats in a drop or something, hence skipping one echelon of pumpkin gathering might be a fun way to keep it interesting.
If witches drop their black hats and then turn in 3 black hats to make a red hat, then maybe some will actually attempt to finish this quest, you can either kill 2,187 witches or pickup 7,290 pumpkins or a combination of the two.
Even though 2,187 witches is still *a lot*, it would've added a second way to make red hats and perhaps break the mold on this type of quest, that for some reason, OTM quest designers think is very exciting.

Picking up 7k pumpkins is crazy. I didn't get the white sun mask because 2k was too many now the new one is 7k why such a big increase? If your going to increase the number you need to collect you should also diversify the ways to collect as teaweasal suggested. If the hats were random drops I might actualy do this quest.

I didn't really care about the purple party hat, but the quest type was new and I enjoyed the challenge.
I got the white mask cuz it looks great with the white gown, and it was challenging.
I don't like the which hats, so I'm passing on this one.
But like others have said, its personal preference, although if I really liked the white hat, I'd still spend my time elsewhere. It's just too many.

Well someone already finished the quest, by buying lot of hats I imagine. Or they drank a lot of red bulls to stay awake and pickup 7,290 pumpkins.

Looks like there's no chance this quest is going to be made easier, but here's a hint for OTM: Make some mobs drop red hats, easiest non-intrusive solution so far.
